I love my Sony WH-1000XM5, and have worn it extensively for hours on end. But after a while…
…the headband starts to hurt!
When I stumbled upon Capra-Audio's amazing comfort straps, I was knew I found the solution! Capra's models are ingenious! But sadly there's no strap for the XM5, so I came up with my own using TPU laces to secure it to most headphones. It's a simple and quick print in TPU95, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Printing instructions (read carefully)
- set bottom and top solid layers to 0 (in the Layers and perimeters screen)
- use any infill type and percentage you prefer
- split the models into parts (by clicking on the icon on the top of the screen with the P)
- set the infill density of part 1 and 3 to 100%
- print with TPU-95A
Assembly instructions
Use the last photo as a reference
- cut a piece of ~10cm 1.75mm TPU filament
- weave the filament through hole 1-3 as in the photo
- loop the filament around the headband
- weave the filament through hole 4-6 as in the photo
- pull tight carefully on either or both ends
- cut the filament to length
The strap is inherently adjustable in length, but let me know if you need a different length or width!
