In the .3mf setting, there is a place inside the model for installing an nfc chip.
In case printing without NFC chip inside. Remove object in .3MF file (place for nfc chip) and cancel pause printing at layer 39.
Dimensions of tag:
30mm x 38mm x 4.5mm
Dimensions of the place for installing the chip:
25.4mm x 25.4mm x 0.95mm
The pause of printing is set on layer 39 - the last layer before closing the place for the chip. The place is intended for nfc chips 25mm and with a height of around 0.9 mm. In case of installing an nfc sticker, it is necessary to adjust the dimensions of the place for chip and adjust the pause for printing at right layer.
Into chip can be write or delete data to share. Of course, it is lockable. You can easily fill the chip with data in the comfort of your home with the NFC tools app, which is available for both Android and iOS operating systems. The lifespan of an NFC tag is around 100,000 write/erase cycles.
