Is your Dummy 13 SWAT team currently in a house with a guy hiding in an attic? You going to stick your head up there to see if he's got a gun or not? Not bloody likely. So here's a safer way, the Dummy 13 SWAT Pole Camera! Simply turn on the screen, extend the camera into the attic space, turn on the thermal, and voila: hiding bad guy. Toss in some gas to make them come to you.
But wait, you're not at the attic, you're outside a door and need to know where the bad guy is. Now what? Well my friends, simply detach the camera and attach the under door camera! That's right, this bad boy comes with multiple attachments that can articulate to get into those hard to reach areas! It also includes a microphone to hear what's going on.
The tubes extend and I put a friction lock at the end so it doesn't come out. Once you're print is done, take the smaller straw and twist/push it through the larger one with the screen, then screw on the back cover. I made both camera fittings tight so they wouldn't get lost and because they'll wear in a bit once you use them (in PLA anyways).
It's at 250% and I haven't tried a smaller scale though aside from losing some details on the cameras and the screen, I don't see why it wouldn't work. Remember to use 40% to size 250 to 100%.
I painted the bubble on the camera with grey paint marker, and I've used the same on the screen in a couple of my variations and I really like it. Print with slim tree supports for the camera and the screen, everything else just prints in place.
This was developed by me on request, so if you've got something you'd like to see, I might put it on my to do list. Or if you have ideas for other attachments for this too, that'd be more than welcome.
Enjoy!
