I wanted to use the DELACK Enclosure with a skirt but didn't like the options of either leaving the LCD inside the enclosure which makes it hard to use or mounting the LCD on the skirt since I wanted to be able to lift the entire enclosure off the printer with as minimal effort as possible.
Created this bracket that mounts to the LCD to the printer directly, but with an appropriate amount of space to allow the enclosure to just set on top of it. It also adjusts the position of the LCD so that it is centered in the skirt.
Usage:
Similar to the original enclosure instructions, you'll need to release as much tension in the LCD cables as possible. One of the pictures shows the routing I settled on which has it coming more diagonally out of the circuit board, into the clips to keep things neat, and then into the bracket. The new bracket includes a few holes to run a zip tie through to hold the cables in place.
Add 4 M3nS nuts into the appropriate slots in the bracket.
Mount the bracket to the LCD display using the same screws that the LCD was mounted to the printer (I have an MK4S so these were M3x12sT screws but, in theory, it should work with whatever was there before).
(Optional) Zip tie the cables to the bracket loosely.
Mount the bracket to the printer using the original holes and 4 M3x8 bolts. Tighten zip ties, if used.
Replace the front center piece of the skirt with a print of the skirt_back_wall_x1.stl part from the skirt files.
Place enclosure over printer!
Final note: I printed a small tray (150x40x15) that I can set on the bracket that holds things like allen wrenches - just be careful that it isn't too high otherwise the bed will hit it.
