This 3D-printed ring is designed to hold 5 mm wide self-adhesive copper tape, creating a reliable barrier against slugs and snails. Simply wrap the tape around the ring’s groove and mount it around your planters or garden pots. The profile includes a cover to protect the copper tape from rain and extend its lifespan.
To achieve the best effect, connect a 3 V lithium battery with solder leg pins. This creates a small electric deterrent that significantly improves protection, even in wet conditions. The battery and copper tape can be easily found on online marketplaces like AliExpress.
The provided model has a base diameter of 220 mm, and more sizes will be added soon. The FreeCAD source file is also included, making it fully parametric and easy to customize for your needs.
