I wanted a small bread loaf tin that would not take up lots of space on the kitchen worktop but I was unable to find anything suitable.
I ended up spending the afternoon designing and printing a small footprint bin that would fit a loaf made in a generic bread maker. I have a Panasonic SD350 and this bin accomodates the largest bake the breadmaker can do, although I usually bake a medium loaf.
The external size of the breadbin is 7" x 6" x 10" (WxDxH including the handle) , with an internal size of 6.7" x 5x7" x 8".
To print, you will need 500g (160m) PETG and 20g (6m) TPU.
The bin will take about 7-8 hrs to print; the lid 2 hours; and the handle and gasket about 40 mins each.
The gasket should be glued on to the lid with a little glue, and the handle can either be glued to the lid or (recommended) fixed using 2 M3x4mm brass inserts heatset into the lid, and 2 M3x8mm bolts fed through the lid into the handle.
