Trading Card Press Flattener

Used to flatten traditional sized trading cards that have some sort of lift, bend, or curvature to them.

Features:

• Replaceable bolts and nuts incase they get damaged or stripped
• Fits traditional sized cards and card sleeves (Ultra Pro penny sleeves pictured)
• Built in card alignment
• Ribbed top now included for more structure

Notes:

• To get the most rigidity, I printed the body in PLA, 0.24 layer height, 5 walls, 5 top, 25% gyroid infill. Bolt and nuts printed in 0.16 layer height
• Pieces may be a tight fit at first, but insert and removing pieces a few times will smooth them out
• For the bottom piece, if your printer does not print smooth top layers, I've included a “Card Press Flat Layer” which you can put on top of the bottom piece; this will use the surface your print bed creates as the pressing surface instead of the top layer
• Card sleeves are recommended

Usage:

• I am not responsible for damage to your cards, I created this to help flatten my cards
• Once screws are inserted through the back, insert card and tilt towards the alignment brackets. If you are using the flat press layer, put that on before inserting your card
• Insert the top piece carefully push down while the device is still tilted towards the alignment brackets
• Screw down the nuts in an “X” pattern
• To remove, tilt device towards the alignment brackets and unscrew. Slowly lift the top piece and tilt the device the opposite direction for the card to slide out
