After printing other racks for my 910MM shelf, I wanted one that had no separators that took up space. This design is strong and fits perfectly to any shelf. (Two end caps are available, one that grabs the shelf end and one that sits flat).
Simply enter the width and thickness of your shelf and the maximum width your printer can print. (you can also opt to do multiple sections, but the default is 1). If the shelf width is greater than a single section your printer can handle, the spreadsheet will calculate the number of (equal width) sections you need and the number of connecting “pegs” needed to join them. Simply print these and join them using the pegs.
The spreadsheet will also tell you how many “standard” width spools the result will hold.
I have included STLs for the 182mm sections (5) I needed to suit a standard 910mm (notional “3-foot” shelf) pictured
