I liked LeDank's side cover and wanted to add some LED's to it.
I made the cover just a bit more square, so the LED's could hang slightly lower. There's also more room in the top left corner to hide a buck converter. The second pictures shows a comparison and shows the areas you should keep out of if you're going to add any mods.
The third picture shows the small pcb I made to add lighting next to the hotend. It features a connector for power, a microswitch, two 5mm white LED's and a 2kΩ resistor per LED. The way I laid it out across the pcb is honestly terribly illogical, but it gets the job done. Power gets drawn from the hotend fan, to which I added a splice.
