Cartmans Roshambo - Tabletop Edition!

An educational video on the history of Eric Cartman's version of Roshambo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKB7COEuFlA

I have created a tabletop game version of Cartman's Roshambo, pick your character and face off against one another from each end of a table or flat surface. Place your character in front of your spring loaded launcher and press down on the launcher to fling them across the table at your opponent! the aim of the game is to take turns trying to knock down your opponent at the other end of the table. The first one to knock down their opponent 5 times is the winner!

Printing and Assembly

Print the .3mf with tree supports to support the few sections that need supports. Bed size of greater than 220x220 is sufficient. I printed mine with a Ender 3 V3 SE. The parts will snap out but for a better quality finish use a pair of flush cutters like the ones you use for cutting filament.

To assemble the launcher, insert the spring with the small notched end facing outwards (see photo) then using some of the frame material, wiggle this through the hole while the spring is all the way in in order to act as a retainer for the spring. flush cutters to trim the piece on each side. This is an intentionally tight fit so either wiggle the piece up and down or use pliers to push the piece through until it protrudes the other side.

The release simply stretches onto the 2 circular notches on each side and slots into them. Grab the little bar that slots into the small holes at the ends and press into the holes. To use the laucher, press the spring in until the notch is in line with the bar on the release and it will slide over this. Place a character in front of the loaded spring and press down on the release, which will fling your character across the table!

I used white PLA filament and painted them with Posca paint markers but I also found coloured permanent markers also worked fairly well instead.

No balls were kicked or harmed in the making of this!
