A new birdbath was designed to clamp to the 1.5" thick top rail of the deck railing, but our railing is too thick.

Our new deck rails (replace due to damage from hurricane Helene) are metal and not rectangular. The clamp for our new birdbath is designed to clamp to a rectangular wooden top rail and would not be stable on the rounded top of the new rails. I designed an insert for the clamp that would fit it to the railing and it insulates the rail from the metal clamp. I printed it in PETG at 0.2 layer height on my Core One. It works like a charm…
