This is a self-centering vice to hold coins (or other objects) to clean, inspired by three jaw chucks commonly found on lathes. Coins smaller than 40 mm in diameter are natively supported, but the design can be scaled to fit bigger sizes. The position of the jaws is linear with the rotation of the housing for maximum control.
Assembly steps:
- Slide the three jaws into the housing, oriented as shown in the pictures
- Add the plate, aligning the pins on the jaws so that they are at the same distance from the center
- While all parts are in place, secure the assembly with the circlip (chamfered face opposite to the plate)
