Simple snap-on adapter for 102mm soft hose if you want to keep the cooling unit outside:
-remove rotating wing by slightly bending
-remove metal safety grill by slightly bending
-snap on the adapter
-attach hose and add insulation, enjoy the greatly reduced noise.
Keep the cooling hose short and easy to flow, otherwise your unit might start to short cycle (cooling turns on/off constantly). Mine works perfectly with 50cm hose.

My model is the Electrolux 9000btu one, pretty sure this adapter fits all similar looking versions.
