The Duplo cannonball is easily lost, and they are quite expensive secondhand (more than the cannon itself!). I printed some replacements, but the can break easily if dropped the wrong way (always at the stem).
This model tries to solve that by splitting the head and stem, so they can be oriented in the ideal way for strength.
You will probably need to file or sand the stem a bit so it slides in and out of the cannon easily. Do this after inserting it into the head, as it will friction fit into that. Probably best not to glue it also, so you can just print the stem again if it ever breaks.
