I used the OpenSCAD generator to create my honeycomb wall storage grid and chose flat edges. But the only 3M command strip wall mounting brackets I could find were only for the regular edges and thus wouldn't fit my set up. If you're like me and like the flat edged grids and want to mount it to the wall with 3M Command Strips, then this is the solution for you.
The mounting brackets are named horizontal or vertical, which is the way they lined up on my grid. But it may be the opposite for you. Choose the appropriate mounting brackets for your set up.
I personally used the large adhesive strips, but I also made alternates that should fit the Velcro strips without having the entire grid sit too far off the wall.
