Electron Bucket Power Supply

Introducing, the electron bucket.  A toolbox with a carry handle, designed for din rail mounting two power supplies and the terminals to keep them organized.  Individually switched outputs and all.  Cornboy, as always, for scale (Look up The bearded printer for that little guy… https://www.printables.com/model/981227-cute-candy-corn )

For this exercise you'll need a PC power cord you don't much care for, a pair of switches, two power supplies, two terminals and some miscellaneous wire.  I would also recommend keeping things neat with crimped ferrules and sta-kon connectors on the wiring.  The 120vac switch is common to both DC power supplies.  There is an individually lighted DC switch for each power supply output.  For safety's sake, I put a 10A weidmuller DIN mount breaker in the box to keep things sane and safe.  Yes the switches say they're 12v, but 24v won't blow your hair back on these.  They run fine for years on 24vdc.  Mostly I think the mfg says that so you don't put 120vac to them and pop them instantly.

You'll also need M3 heatset inserts.  This model uses 8x m3x12 screws and 2x m3x8 screws for assembly.

Last but not least, you'll need 80mm of standard din rail.

For mine, I printed with 4 external perimeters, 4 top and bottom, 5% infill in petg.  The model is designed with insets for 9x 8mm rubber adhesive feet as well.
