simple pelletizer for operation on a drill press
Required Hardware
1 x 608z ball bearing 22x8x7mm
1 x M6x25 screw
1 x M6 nut and washer
1 x router bit D20xL minimum 20mm, 8mm shank
1 x M6 heat set insert
The M6 Heat Set insert is melted into the angular hole
The ball bearing can be completely pressed in using a vice and a piece of wood that is smaller than the bearing slot
The M6 screw serves as the counter-blade and must be adjusted accordingly to the router bit. They should not touch, but they should also not be set too far apart. Secure the screw with the nut after adjustment!
For better cutting performance, it is advisable to grind/file the M6 screw at the front flat.
May also work with slightly smaller router bit diameter (about 18mm), but I didn't test it.
The connection of collecting container and pelletizer are pet bottle thread, so the container can be closed with a standard PET bottle cap.
