For prototyping of circuits on a thruhole breadboard (picture 3), usually one solders IC sockets into it and connects the pins with enamelled copper wires (such as in picture 3) which leads to quite a mess. Better is it to use combs to lead the wires between the sockets, such as described e.g. in https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiring_pencil or https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/F%C3%A4deltechnik.
Decades ago a company named Vero sold special combs to be placed on such prototyping boards and a pen to feed 0.2mm (AWG32 or 33) for easier soldering. Unfortunately, they are no longer available, or if as NOS, for an obscene price. So I made a replacement.
Details: use PETG or another high temperature filament; unfortunately this leads to stringing as seen in the title picture. Print as fine granular as possible, I used 0,1mm layer width. The whole comb has a size of only 3mm. I provided an OpenSCAD source, so you can adjust that if it does not fit for your purposes. I didn't add pegs to fit unto the breadboard holes as the originals had - simply glue the strips into place.
