I designed and printed something quite "useful." A speaker cabinet for the caravan. It wasn't easy to get the right angle because the rear wall is slanted.
The cover could be covered with acoustic fabric.
Car hi-fi speakers aren't actually designed for enclosed cabinets, but I wanted a better soundstage than if the speakers were mounted below in the seating area or below in the wall cabinets. Of course, you can't expect a bass miracle from this - but I don't want that either.
The print time with a grille on a Prusa MK4S was approximately 14.5 hours. I printed it from SUNLU HIGH SPEED MATTE PETG (I am not happy with the filament) in white. I'll be using inexpensive JVC CS-J620 coaxial speakers. That's more than enough for the occasional radio.
16 Magnets 5 x 2mm are glued in for the installation of the grille.
The Speakers are mounted with 8 M4 x 20 Screws and Nuts.
