I designed this heart shaped sparrow hotel for my mothers birthday. Sparrows are in decline here so they might need some help. They love to nest close to each other I read, so that's why it's a twin room.
All prototype parts were printed in PETG. For the front and the edge of the front I only provided left hand files. Mirror them in your slicer for the right hand version. Standard slicer settings are okay, if you want to save some filament you can put one bottom layer less and reduce the infill to 5%. I printed the front on my textured sheet.
Addtional items needed:
2x M3x12 + nut
4x M5x16 + nut
Some form of attachment
The mounting plate has 3 holes that can handle 5mm screws an there are 2 12mm slots. The slots can be used for tie wraps or something similar to attach it to a tree branch or fencepost or something similar.
It will be mounted shortly and then we'll see if the birds like it :-)
