I printed in ABS for better weather tolerance, but any filament would work depending on the longevity you need.
The files are scaled to standard legal sizes; however, they can be scaled down to suit a bike rack or a trailer.
Can be printed on an angle to get a larger size to fit on your print bed, however I printed mine flat so that I could do a pause and filament colour change.
