We updated my wife's car and found that the new front speaker would not fit in the original bracket. I made this to allow for the new speaker with a round magnet.
Tips:
I ran a zip tie through the dash bracket to further secure the bracket.
Depending on your speaker you might have to add some shims between the speaker and the dash. I used some dynamat and fabric to make it work.
I enlarged the hole on the support part of the bracket to allow for the speaker wires to pass through
