I designed a custom enclosure in SolidWorks specifically to house the device while intentionally removing access to the speaker and microphone features. This vented enclosure maintains airflow and cooling, and its design allows for easy access to the microSD card whenever needed. The fully enclosed camera will not have access to the MicroSD card, place it in the slot before assembling the camera together. Otherwise, be prepared to open the full enclosure when you need the microSD.

Please note:

 Using this custom enclosure is a destructive process—the original stock enclosure must be taken apart and cannot be used again in its original form. Disassembling the stock enclosure is required to fit the device into the new vented design, so proceed only if you are comfortable with permanently modifying your device.

The enclosure requires all original hardware from the stock device for proper assembly and function, so make sure not to discard any screws, fasteners, or components when disassembling the original enclosure. Retaining these parts is essential for securely installing the device into the new vented enclosure.

1. Use grommet on the “Face” of the enclosure part. 
2. Check direction of Light PBC.
3. Add Spacers (2).
4. Check Direction of Wifi PBC.
5. Ensure pins on PBC boards align. 
6. Add Screws (2).
7. Add Wifi Antenna.
8. Check Direction of Camera PBC.
9. Add Spacers (2).
10. Add Heat Shield.
11. Add Back Lid.
12. Cautiously, add screws (2) Do Not overtighten.
13. Use bolt and Hex nut from Original Magnetic mount and bolt it together with “arm”.
14. Do the same with the other side.

OEM Magnetic Mount:

1. Take off the Silicone pads (3).
2. Take out magnets.
3. Press-fit magnets into new mount.
