Intra-chamber gridfinity base grid for QIDI Plus 4

This 1x7 gridfinity base grid perfectly fills the dead space in your QIDI Plus4. I use it to place a toolholder, a nozzle case and a generic 1x1 tray to store small screws. It comes with specially designed adapters that fix the grid at the intended position avoiding interference with the hot plate.

Caution

@starystarego_2438202 kindly reported that, to my regret, this model does not fit in some of the variations of QIDI plus 4.

Connectors does not fit in my qidi plus 4 (one of first batch).

So, I recommend you to first print one piece of the adapter to see if it fits in your QIDI plus 4.
BTW, the model fits in my plus4 which arrived to me in June 2025.

Printing

• Print one grid and at least two adapters.
• No support is needed. Print the adapters in the right position as shown below.
• PLA may not be compatible with high chamber temperatures.
• PETG should work fine.

Assembly

• The adapters should snap fit to the grid.
  • If they are too tight to fit, file them a little.
  • If they are too loose, glue them together with some super glue.
• Two adapters on the both ends of a 1x7 grid will be enough to fix the grid at the right position. 
  • Add some more adapters to have tighter fit.

Optional tray

I also attached a 1x1 generic tray. I use it to temporarily store small screws when I disassemble parts of the printer.
