I designed this mini-itx case for the 10 inch rack i printed. The tray and the frontpanel are modular so you can remix the frontpanel without printing the whole model again. The case will fit a mini-itx motherboard and 3 2.5" ssds/hdds.
I designed this case so it can be printed on a 250 x 210 bed because i only own a Prusa MK3s.
Bill of Material
The list of models that need to be printed:
- 1x Tray
- 1x Frontpanel
- 1x ssd_mount_frontpanel
- 2x ssd_mount_small
Other hardware:
- 12x M3 x 4 threaded inserts
- 4x M3 x 6 threaded inserts
- 30x M3x6 bolts (i'm using DIN 912)
- 4x M3x8 or M3x10 countersunk screw
- 16mm powerbutton
- Way less than a spool of filament

Print specifications
The board is lifted enough from the tray so that you can print it in normal PLA. My setup is printed in PLA and is running for a couple of weeks now without any warping at all. If you want to be extra safe you can always use PETG.
This can be printed without the use of supports and i use the default settings in prusaslicer.
- Infill 15%
- skirt removed for the frontpanel if your bed is 250mm wide
- layerheight: 0.3mm
- No supports needed
Print orientation
Print the tray in the same orientation as it would go into the rack. WIth the cirular cutout on the bed.
The frontpanel needs to lay flat in the bed with the cutout for the network adapter on top, not on the bed.
The SSD mount needs to be printed with the side where the SSDs are inserted on top.
I added gcode files for the Prusa MK3s in this post. You can see the orientation when you open the files in a gcode viewer.
Hardware as shown in the pictures
The case is designed so it wil fit all standard mini-itx boards.
