I wanted a way to mount my Pad7 in a way that it didnt interfere with anything. This fits with an enclosure and looks pretty badass :)
You print everything upright like it's to be installed except for the pair of hinge pins. Those have a flat on them and you print them with the flat side down..
I printed everything with a .04 nozzle at .2mm layers with 25% infill. I was told it prints just fine at .28mm if you want to speed up the print time.
You will need to print two hinge pins, one for the top and one for the bottom. Inserting the pins into the gears takes a firm press to seat.
I attach the assembly to the frame of my Ender 5 S1 with (2) M4 T slot nuts and (2) M4 10mm socket head cap screws.
