Description:
- A custom-designed waveguide for matching the depth of the Visaton W170s' origin of sound with the Vifa/Peerless/Tymphany XT25G30-04 ring radiator. The diameter of the WG matches the woofer's. The waveguide should also fit on other tweeters with similar faceplates.
Versions:
- As a ready-to-mount-version with visible screwing.
- As 2-part-device separated in an adapter plate and an upper part. The 2-part-version has threads on the back for hidden screwing.
Additional notes:
- For mounting the tweeter M4-screws are needed. Measurements of the tweeter in the WG are shown in the second picture beginning with the on-axis-response and the other following measurements in 15°-steps showing the dispersion. Measurements were made in a speaker enclosure with a 415x227mm front and 20mm edge-radius.
