I liked the original design but I wanted to add some additonal creature comforts. I wanted to integrate the veclostraps and add an additional hole to support two suction cups. The bottom suction cup is positioned to allow easy removal.
Additonally i wanted to use the hardware i had on hand so I modified the hole details to use M3 socket head screws. I also added a self-threading feature to the lid that should allow the screws to thread nicely into the lid (See CAD screenshoot for example)
Note: This has not been tested with the GPS shield. I find that have adequate GPS performance without needing the shield.
