My granddaughters love the escalator and wanted a pink and purple version. With the first build, the stairs were slightly angled. Not sure why, that didn't make sense from the design, but when I slightly angled the non-drive side sprocket, the stairs align much better. The motor clamp did not hold the motor, I made the middle slightly thicker in the slicer. I also wanted a more positive alignment for the battery charger circuit, and added that for a smaller circuit to the bottom cover. If the battery is installed backwards, the charger blows, so for the second escalator I used a bigger charger circuit with built-in protection. For this one I use a connector so I can completely remove the bottom cover, so added anchors for a zip tie to hold the connector down. I used hot glue to hold everything else in place.
Bottom cover is printed with the bottom flat on the build plate, no supports needed.
I looked into adding the 18650 battery holder to the bottom cover, but there isn't much room, it would have been too thin and fragile, so I hot glued one in just like on the original build.
