Keuka Lake Tiled Topographical Map

This is a 3x3 tiled topographical map of Keuka Lake located in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. This project came about after playing around with TouchTerrain and the desire to print out the entire lake with a limited printbed size on my Ender 3 S1 Pro. 

The file naming includes the coordinates for the piece and that corresponds with the border piece of that specific tile. See reference pic with annotations for a visual. 

This design allows for the user to scale up as necessary to create wall art of whatever size desired. I believe I used 200%. That being said, i used woodPLA with adaptive layer heights and only about 20% infill. The infill can be changed to make the finished product heavier or lighter based on whatever you want. 

Using CA glue, a framing square, and some patience, the design glues up quite easily. Future improvements could be made to key pieces together easier for a more flush fit. Same goes for the borders which overlap the edge of the map by ~1mm. Other improvements include using woodfiller to hide the tile lines better. 

In my case, i did not use AMS to color the lake blue. That was done with loads of masking tape and patience with some spray paint.
