so prints in three pieces, freecad was being insanely uncooperative so this was a ridiculous struggle
the cap i gently heated to get it to form fit the groove little better as if not its very very very snug and you'll get it on and not off… and the slot i gently heated the back end to flex it slightly to get it into place. after doing this once for both slapped some glue to stick the hinge on the cap and you're good to go
