Modifications made to the original:
- Printed using a 0.25 mm nozzle for higher detail
- Buttons scaled to 92% on X and Y axes
- Buttons scaled to 88.37% on Z axis
Assembly Instructions:
- Carefully cut away the remaining part of the original rubber button plate using a precision (X-Acto-style) knife. Be cautious not to damage the LED.
- Apply masking tape around the button plate recess to protect the surrounding area.
- Apply a small amount of glue around the edges and near the button holes — avoid the LED area.
- Using small pliers, gently insert the 3D-printed buttons into the holes.
- Align and place the new button plate so the LED is visible through the small opening and the buttons come up cleanly through the three holes.
- Gently press down on the sides of the button plate with the pliers to ensure it adheres to the glued areas — take care not to press near the LED.
