I put together a simple 5-slot fastener tray. Nothing fancy, just a practical way to keep small parts sorted and in one place. The five compartments seem to be plenty for most keyboard builds, giving each type of fastener its own space without taking up too much room on my desk.
Each compartment is about 30x35x7mm, enough room for a decent number of screws or washers without things spilling over. The whole tray takes up roughly 17x40mm. I added a slight curve to the front of each compartment to make it a little easier to scoop parts out.
Print settings
Stock 0.40mm diameter nozzle with 0.2mm or 0.25mm are recommended.
The units on this listing were printed on a Prusa XL with Prusament PLA marble filament. 0.6mm diameter nozzle @ 0.25mm layer height structural profile. Optional settings:
- Seam position: manually aligned to one of the back corners
- Infill/perimeters overlap: 17%
- Fill pattern: Gyroid (recommended for PETG)
- Single perimeter on first layer
- Single perimeter on all top surfaces
