I'm currently working on putting together a functional desk to facilitate my many hobbies. I also have the goal of keeping the space aesthetic in addition to functional. I made this simple holder to both store and display my Remarkable 2 alongside it's usual companions (like my reference texts and headphones). The holder features two cradles at the bottom corner and a rotating retain at top center. A slot in the bottom left cradle allows for charging while the tablet is being stored/displayed. The tablet can be stored closed or open (useful if you are referencing the material on the tablet for work on your desk--I've found the particularly helpful when tinkering on circuits).

I used Line Arc Line's wonderful T Clip system for the attachment--I tend to print out a handful of the clips and have them on hand for when I make my next Skadis project. I've paired the T Clips with inserts to stabilize the pieces of the holder without requiring too much more filament.

All three main pieces require support under the built-in Skadis inserts. T printed retainer prints well on its side with support added in the T Clip hole. The retainer arm can be printed without support. You will need an M3x6 cap head screw and M3x4mmx5mm heatset insert to attach the retainer arm. The counterbored hole for the M3 screw is a very snug fit. This is intentional to prevent free spinning and loosening of the retainer, which was an issue in my initial version. I found the easiest way to install the bolt was to push it as far as possible by hand and then use an M3 nut on the rear side of the arm to crank the screw head the rest of the way into the counterbore. Please let me know if you have trouble with this part and I can tweak the design as needed!

Make sure to print two of the T Clips, and consider printing them in contrasting colors!

Happy printing!
