I permanently installed my K400, but don't ride around with an antenna permanently installed. I wanted something to put in place to keep rain, dirt, and other detritus out of the threaded mount hole. This cap prints as 2 parts and requires a 3/8-24 x ¾"-long bolt (stainless steel if you can). No supports are required to print, and I would recommend a material that is going to hold up well outdoors. PETG has been working for me for over 6 months with no issues.
After printing, insert the bolt into the cap piece. It should be a pretty tight friction fit, though I added a dab of 2 part epoxy for added security. Then, glue the dome to the cap. Again, I recommend 2 part epoxy over CA or other glues for longevity.
