I got an Ender 2 pro and want to see if I can upgrade hardware, electronics and software to get an E3D Revo Micro running.
- Make the Revo Micro and the fans fit to the printhead →
- version with one part cooling fan available
- at the moment I see no need for 2-fan solution
- Wiring → used the E3D wires down to the motherboard
- Software → Compile Marlin to make the thermistor fit →
- downloaded Marlin with an example configuration for the Ender 2 pro from the official github
- installed visual studio code with plugins (followed E3D/youtube tutorial)
- made the changes for thermistor type and max. temp in the configuration.h
- compiled and flashed the .bin on the Ender 2 pro
Refer also to the official E3D Help Centre: https://e3d-online.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/6450443315485-Revo-Micro-Documentation The help is not for the Ender 2 pro, but you can adapt many things easily to it.
This project works for me.
Comments and makes are welcome.
-------------
