Using three 130mm LED-noodles and my custom PCB https://github.com/9a/3ch_pwm_sao_badge (compatible with the shitty-addon standard), though one should be able to use any small prototype Arduino style controller.
Print the main body three times with the first layer black, the following layers transparent. Super glue these 3 parts to the “base” element.
The cover parts need to be printed in black and clipped onto the noodles themself.
Using my custom 3ch PWM SAO PCB one can mount the PCB using two M3x5mm screws directly into the plastic.
