I lost the cover for my “Multibox”, so i designed by own and let my neighbour 3D-print it for me.
Also, handling of the big bee collection funnel sitting in the opening of the Multibox was awkward and shaky. So I used the same mechanism (bayonet lock) for the cover to design an adapter for the funnel. The funnel now sits savely and securely on top of the multibox.
The *deckel*SOLO.stl at the bottom shows a thin fin pointing downwards with 3 holes. You can string a small strip of cloth there, so the bees have a place can cluster and hang out as long as they are confined to the Multibox..
We developed lots of useful 3D printed bee keeping and queen breeding equiment here at the Open Queen Breeding project and will continue to do so. In the near future, all of our designs will be published on GitHub under a Free and Open Source license.
