This is just the mechanism used in my other uploads for the ammo box, uploaded as individual parts and a .step file so that anyone can remix and use it in their own projects. Or, use the 'Complete' stl to add to pre-existing files, just place as needed then separate to parts and remove everything but the hinges to keep the correct spacing for your project.
Great for small boxes, can stand a lot of weight (100rds of 9mm turned upside down) and has a secure and satisfying feel.
The pins for the hinge and latches are just your filament. Clear the holes of any blobs, stick a piece of filament through and snip with some flush cutters.
