I saw that mine has a bit of a different version of the pcb and it doesn’t have the Ribbon connecting to the Hall effect daughter board, don’t know and don’t have a newer version to test if it’s still compatible or what are the steps in modding it.
after opening the main 4 screws remove the side cover and lay it on a table
remove the screw but keep pressure and release slowly so the springs and ball bearing wont fly
i reused the original magnet in the model but in the modified one its flipped to fit in the height
i dont think that direction of the magnet have an effect but havent tested deeply.
