I was not going to upload this as it's not perfect, but here you go.
You need a standard skate or fidget spinner bearing. Printed bearing for this exist but are for from good IME. Superglue the bearing to the middle because it will move around otherwise.
Why it's not perfect (see picture 4 and 5) :
- You will need to sand and lube/graphite the rack part to ensure it slides smoothly.
This would always be the case but because the rack is slightly lower than it should be (I think) it wants to tilt up when you turn left and it pulls down when you turn right. So I would recommend sanding the edges of the rack to allow for that movement. This should not affect performance in game. It doesn't for me.
- Sorry but the power button situation is awkward as it need a small object to start the controller. I didn't have the will to modify this any longer as I have it working for me. Stick a hot screw driver thru the hole if you want it bigger.
- Right stick does not turn left much. You will be ok in rally games but if you need to adjust the camera you might want to curse.
