A Vive tracker mount that's designed to be sewn onto shoes which don't have laces. There's plenty of options for mounts for trackers with laces, but none for slip-on shoes.
This works well for comfy indoor shoes that happen to be made of a material that isn't impossible to sew through (if your shoes are leather, you're gonna have a problem!) The shoes I used in the pictures are “Skechers Slip-ins: Ultra Flex 3.0 - Nezzo”.
Sewing the mount to the shoe:
Place the tracker kinda high up on the shoe, otherwise it'll be a pain to access the other side with your hand. There's 4 holes on top which I used to push sewing pins through to keep the tracker still while sewing.
Bolting on the tracker:
There's a 12.5mm tripod screw included in the printer files, however I'd only really recommend it as a temporary solution. I printed mine in PETG and it's survived 3 sessions so far, but I don't trust it.
What I'd recommend longer term is finding a bolt between 10mm and 14mm long with a 1/4"-20 UNC thread. There's no space under the tracker for a bolt head, so either find a screw without a head, or just saw the head off.
Enjoy!
