Rather than using coin battery/rechargeable Tea lights, this Model adapts a LED USB Flickering Flame Bulbs into a Tea Light suitable for use in suitable Candle holders (eg the modern candlelight No1 by MIPI3D https://www.printables.com/model/678594-modern-candlelight-number-1 )
I sourced my Flickering Flame LED from Ali Express but may be available elsewhere. ( I used item# 1005008209331993, but there are other vendors)
Note the LED seems to be overdriven at 5V so I put a 15 Ohm resistor in series to drop the voltage down a bit to avoid early failure (some of the vendors on Ali Express do supply a resistor).
For my print as illustrated I used PETG, black and silver for the lower part and white for the “wax” that has a slot for the LED. I printed at 0.2mm layers on a 0.4mm nozzle.
Supports will be needed for the lower part and if you want the 2 colour effect then set up a filament change at the suitable height when you slice.
I threaded the cable through both parts 1st first before soldering to the LED, then Gorilla glued the LED flame to the wax part and then again for the wax to the bottom part.
My thanks to MIPI3D for the inspiration to do this.
