This is a cup holding tray that holds 9 cups from the Modular Hydroponics Tower that everyone loves. I wanted something that fit edge to edge in a 1020 tray to prevent light from causing algae growth in the water.
This tray holds 9 cups and 2 of them will fit in a 10x20 planting tray. It's designed to help prevent light from reaching the nutrient solution in the base, to help prevent algae growth. Note that I use the low profile cups, but the standard cups fit as well. It's set so the bottom of the cup sits slightly above the bottom surface of the tray. Trays are also stackable!
You can use hyper PLA if it's going to be indoors, but use PETG if the tray will be exposed to sunlight. I recommend printing in black or a dark colour to take advantage of light blocking properties.
Note this print is sizeable and you will need a printer that has at least a 300 x 300 bed.
