The naming of the files is pretty self explanatory but you will need the fan mount file and one of the Main Casing files depending on your needs.

This should be printed in at least PETG for heat resistance. Filaments with high heat resistance will also work but I used PETG with few issues.

------------------------------------------------------ Hardware ------------------------------------------------------

Fan Mount Hardware:

  • 2 x M3x5mm or M3x6mm (used a M3x6mm because that is what I had but a 5mm would also be long enough)
  • 4 x M3 x 18 - 20mm (18mm length would be perfectly flush but I used 20mm)
  • 6 x M3 nut

OrbiterV2.0 Mounting Hardware:

  • 2 x M3x10mm
  • 2 x M3 heated insert (I used ruthex's M3x5.7 threaded inserts but something shorter would also work)
  • ~43.25mm Capricorn like tubing to constrain the path from the extruder to the hotend (stick it in the toolhead)

ADXL345 Accelerometer Mounting Hardware:

  • 2 x M3 x 6mm
  • 2 x M3 nut

You can also replace the M3x4mm mounting bolts or use the stock ones. Same goes for the M3x6mm bolts that are used to attach the inductive probe to the left hotend.

------------------------------------------------------ Info ------------------------------------------------------

An Allen key can be put through the holes on the side to tighten the bolts for the inductive probe mount.

The nozzle should be a couple mm below the bottom of the shroud (Adjust using the grub screw). Too far up will result in the fan duct scrapping while printing and too far down will result in the heater block resting on the ducts and melting them.

A piece of electrical tape or other tape can be used to seal the fan output to the shroud input.

There is a some designed support for the fan duct that should be removed after printing (illustrated in image).
