I wanted to have a Neopixel Matrix i can use as a 12 channel spectrum analyzer.
But it can be used for pretty much anything else.
The nexopixels are driven by a Raspi Zero 2 in this example but the matrix is generic - just 3 pins → ground, vcc, signal.
I used transparent PLA as diffuser - worked quite well.
If you want to build it you should have basic soldering skill it requires 69 solder points in this configuration
Layes can be bolted together with M3 screws and nuts
