A modular pond rake that works great for removing duck weed or other small weed varieties from ponds, fishtanks and so on.

The pond rake consists of the following parts:

  • A handle with a knurled grip to stop it slipping in your hand when wet. The handle is also designed to attach to any screw-on paintbrush pole with a 3/4 x 5 ACME thread (https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0866PS7FN for example)
  • Angled connector pieces (30 and 60 degrees, 30 works best for use with an extension pole where you want the head reasonably flat to the water, 60 works best for closer-up weeding)
  • Rake heads (25 medium-prong and 50 long-prong larger heads, 3 varieties of shaped smaller heads for getting into corners and between rocks)

You'll also need the following hardware to hold everything together:

  • 1 x 25mm M3 bolt and 1 x M3 nut to hold angled connector to handle
  • 1 x 10mm M3 bolt and 1 x M3 nut to hold handle to angled connector.

I recommend printing everything in PETG if you're going to use it outside, but PLA should work just fine. Supports are not needed for any of the parts if printed in the orientations shown in the included files.

Although the rake heads are quite thin (as they're designed for picking up small weeds like duck weed) the prongs are very flexible and surprisingly robust.
