The entire holder should fit onto one build plate. PLA is ideal for office or lab environments. PETG or ABS suits warmer shops. The mounting holes for the arms might need drilling to allow for smoother movement on the shoulder screws.
For assembly, there are a few variants. We prefer the shoulder screw version for over-engineered fun; however, there are universal and dowel variants for you to try.
