Behold my newest abomination! Designed to just keep the rolls in place in the drawer, and not move around. There's a number of vertical-roll holders for large tape rolls, but my Ikea Alex drawers are too short to keep the rolls stored on-end (once you account for the thicknesses of the baseplate and the bottom of a holder).
This is a 3*3 holder for 76mm-ID tape rolls; mine happens to hold Kapton tape rolls of various widths.
Alas, as I have no CAD skills, I had to use PerplexingLabs' Gridfinity generator to create a 3*3*1 solid bin, and then import the STL into OrcaSlicer. There, I added a centred “positive part” cylinder, and then hollowed it out with a “negative part” cylinder; this will let you use the centre for additional storage, while saving a whole lot of plastic. Unfortunately, it also means I can only provide the 3MF file and not the STL, meaning you also import my settings.
I tried to use a 2*2 base, but the rolls are too large (the spool itself is already slightly larger than the 2*2), and I do not do Gridfinity bases and bins with grid sizes other than 42mm). Those who use half-grids and half-bins are more than welcome to remix this into a 2,5*2,5 base.
Printed with a 0,6mm nozzle and 0,30mm layers; used Sunlu HSPLA Oreo Marble.
