This is a strap mount that I designed. I sewed the strap/elastic to the mount then welded the mount in place.

Cosplay strap mount. I designed this as a firm mounting point to my suit. I sewed the strap/elastic to the mount. Then carefully heated up the base and molded it to where I wanted to mount it. Then I welded it in place for a strong connection.
